Brenau University has signed an affiliate agreement with Young Harris College to help students and alumni pursue graduate degrees at Brenau.

The agreement allows applicants to receive preferred admission consideration, which may include application fee waivers and expedited review. Additionally, Young Harris students and alumni who are admitted and enroll in a Brenau graduate program will receive a one-time $200 scholarship applied toward tuition and fees.

“The affiliate agreement between Brenau and Young Harris expedites students’ transition from undergraduate to graduate school,” Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, James Eck, Ph.D., said. “Young Harris graduates can pursue high-demand programs at Brenau, including master’s and doctoral programs. Options for graduate study include interior design, accounting, business administration, organizational leadership, communication and media studies, various teaching and education tracks, psychology, nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and physician assistant studies.”

To be eligible, applicants must be current students or alumni of Young Harris College and meet all Brenau GPA, coursework and deadline requirements. All applicants will be evaluated via Brenau’s established admissions processes.

“This partnership reflects our shared commitment to student success, academic excellence, and expanding opportunities for learners across Northeast Georgia and beyond,” Nathan Goss, vice president of Marketing and Enrollment Management, said. “We look forward to welcoming future students from Young Harris into the Brenau community and continuing to build meaningful collaborations that serve our region and its workforce needs.”

During the spring, Brenau also signed agreements with technical colleges to facilitate the transition for students who graduate with associate degrees into bachelor’s programs at Brenau, including the ASN-to-BSN program and healthcare management
