Enrolling in college is one of the most important decisions of your child’s life, and we want to ensure that you and your student feel confident and comfortable as you both enter this new and exciting chapter. Application process
Students can apply to Brenau with either the Brenau Application or the Common Application. Brenau has no preference on which one they choose. If your child is transferring into Brenau, we have a list of courses that may be eligible for transfer. Our admissions counselors are happy to answer any questions, so don’t hesitate to reach out.

We invite all Hispanic students and parents to attend info sessions on college readiness presented in Spanish and English. We’ll help you learn about the college application process and requirements, scholarship opportunities and how to apply for financial aid. Financial Aid
Paying for college can seem daunting, but we’re here to help you through every step of the financial aid process. During the 2021-2022 academic year, 90% of Brenau’s undergraduate students received some form of financial assistance
Residence Life
Students on Brenau’s Gainesville campus live and learn among a diverse group of open-minded and dedicated peers who are all making lasting memories together. To nurture a vibrant learning environment, we have a Residence Life team that helps keep our students safe, and also creates meaningful activities and programming.
Health Services
The Center for Health and Well-being on Brenau’s historic Gainesville campus provides medical care to students and employees. The Center focuses on physical, mental and emotional well-being, and also offers free confidential therapy services to students.
Campus Safety & Security
Brenau’s Campus Safety and Security staff work 24 hours a day, seven days a week to ensure that our students feel safe and comfortable whenever they’re on campus. They can also reach out to an officer if they need a vehicle battery jump, safety escort or someone to let them into their room if they’re locked out.
Student Life
When your child enrolls at Brenau, they join a community of peers who are finding their paths and chasing their dreams together. They’ll have so many opportunities to find their closest friends and stay engaged on campus with our clubs, organizations, performances and events.
Academic Support
While your child is at Brenau, they’ll have many academic support services at their fingertips including the Center for Academic Success, which offers free academic coaching and tutoring; The Writing Center, our hub for all writing assistance needs; the Brenau Trustee Library, a wealth of resources for any project; and The Office of Accessibility Services, a place for learning accommodations.

Brenau’s Office of Career Services is here to help students explore different career options and feel prepared for life after graduation. The office offers career assessments, resume and portfolio building, interview preparation, job search assistance and more.
