Brenau University 17th Annual Mock Mediation Invitational Tournament

Brenau Gainesville campus. Three-round tournament includes training opportunities for students and coaches on mediation techniques and advocacy in mediation. Registration $75 per three-person team, $25 for each extra person including coaches. Fees include the awards luncheon Saturday. Registration begins at noon Friday with training at 1 p.m. Tournament rounds are Friday afternoon, Friday evening and Saturday morning. Free and open to the public, but registration is required. Space is limited, so register early. Registration deadline is Oct. 1. Information: Ken Frank at kfrank@brenau.edu

Library Quiet Zone. Reading at 12:30 p.m. and Q&A at 3:30. Wilson is the author of The Stranger World, winner of the Donald Justice Poetry Prize. He is the editor-in-chief of Literary Matters, and his work appears widely in periodicals such as Best American PoetryFive PointsThe Hopkins ReviewThe New CriterionThe Sewanee Review and The Yale Review.
