In my time at Brenau, I took screen printing, where I learned techniques and how to work with different fabrics. I also took classes in graphic design, and I’m now using those skills every day at my current job at a T-shirt design company. All of the classes I took for my degree have helped me tremendously with my career now.

Being a Studio Art student has helped prepare me for my future career by allowing me to have the opportunity to explore several different ways of art creation, and given me the ability to work in several different mediums and programs. I feel that I am well-rounded in my abilities and I can be confident with these skills as I go into the workforce.
Mel Reily
I would never have been offered my current job without my Studio Art education. The Brenau Art & Design Department employs qualified educators that help students grow as artists, but more importantly as people. Despite what many think, it is possible to have a fulfilling career in the arts after college. You just need the right team to get you there.
