Onward Reserve, a specialty men’s apparel and lifestyle brand, recently announced it has named Emmie Henderson Howard, WC ’01, founder of Southern Proper, as its new president to work alongside company founder and CEO T.J. Callaway. Howard joins Onward Reserve with 15 years of experience, leadership and passion in the apparel industry. Howard is a pioneer of the nationally widespread Southern food and fashion culture, and is credited with being an industry trailblazer by launching a first of its kind clothing brand.
With a focus on growth through new strategic products and key sales expansion, Howard will partner with Callaway to champion the team’s development, brand advancement and day-to-day operations at Onward Reserve. Howard joined the Brenau University Board of Trustees in 2014 and became the board’s vice chair in March.
