Women’s Leadership Certificate Program

The interdisciplinary Women’s Leadership Program is designed to offer students academic and experiential opportunities to develop leadership skills informed by gender awareness. In addition to taking foundational courses in gender studies and leadership principles, students will complete an internship directly related to women in leadership. As part of the experience, each student will submit a paper or project about the internship and present it to a faculty committee. If a student’s major requires an internship, that course may fulfill this requirement provided the student’s work focuses on women and leadership.
