In the fall 2018 semester, the Brenau University Office of Marketing & Communications opened its first design internship, seeking a talented graphic designer to assist Design Director Michael Lowe.

After an application and interview process, which was open to students in the Center for the Arts & Design, Brenau senior Tori Mays was selected for the internship.

“This internship has taught me what goes into planning events all over campus,” Mays said. “I’ve learned AP style writing for publications, what colors to use for Brenau events versus gallery openings, and effective compositions for posters and flyers. I’m grateful for all that Michael Lowe has taught me in the short three months of working with him, and I am grateful to the Center for the Arts & Design for allowing me this internship opportunity.”
