Why Brenau University

Since 1878, Brenau University has provided students with more than an education; it has encouraged them to be more – to develop or unearth personal traits that result in professional strength and renewal.

We invite you to explore what more you can be with a Brenau education: brave enough to take steps and leaps of faith, bold enough to share your ideas and bright and brilliant enough to thoughtfully contribute to society.

Even before you formally apply, our Admissions Office staff is ready to do whatever we can to make the process as positive as possible. Give us a call at 800.252.5119 ext. 6100 or 770.534.6100 and someone will be happy to talk with you.

The Women’s College Advantage

Why should you choose a Women’s College? Studies show that those who attend women’s colleges are more likely to receive doctoral degrees, enter medical school, earn higher salaries, develop stronger leadership skills, and have higher self-esteem as compared to female graduates of coeducational colleges. 81% of women’s college graduates say their college was extremely or very effective in preparing them for their first job.

Visit Campus

The best way to see if Brenau is right for you is to visit our campus.  We would love to host you and your family – and maybe a friend or two – during a campus tour or weekend visitation event. Our tour guides and Admissions Counselors are happy to answer any questions you may have as they guide you around our beautiful campus. We offer daily tours throughout the week (Monday – Friday) and on the last Saturday of each month, as well as special weekend visitation days throughout the year.  If you are unable to make it to one of our scheduled events, please give us a call and we will be happy to set up something just for you.
