Why Brenau University

Since 1878, women have come to Brenau University to learn fearlessness, leadership and the skills they need to have successful and rewarding careers.  At Brenau, your professors will know your name, your classmates will be your biggest supporters, and you will discover a world full of possibilities inside and outside the classroom. For more than 138 years, Brenau faculty and staff have been dedicated to helping women reach their full potential.  We invite you to join us, be a part of our traditions, and see what life at Brenau is really like.

The Women’s College Advantage

Why should you choose a Women’s College? Studies show that those who attend women’s colleges are more likely to receive doctoral degrees, enter medical school, earn higher salaries, develop stronger leadership skills, and have higher self-esteem as compared to female graduates of coeducational colleges. 81% of women’s college graduates say their college was extremely or very effective in preparing them for their first job.
