Section Code

 

Day Classes 01, 02, 03, etc. 15 week format
0E – meet after 4:00 p.m. for 16 weeks

Evening and Weekend Classes
Section Codes are made up of two or three characters which designate campus location, session and if necessary, any special meeting format.

The first character of the section code designates the location of the class:

D Online Class (Distance)
G Gainesville Campus
P North Atlanta Campus (North Perimeter)
F South Atlanta (Fairburn)
A Augusta/Fort Gordon Campus
K Kings Bay Campus

The second character of the section code designates the session:

_1 meets for the first seven weeks
_2 meets for the second seven weeks
_W meets on eight weekends
_E meets evenings for 14 weeks (15 weeks w/1 week break in middle)
_F meets during the day for eight weeks (summer only)

The third character (if present) designates a special format or a split class during a standard format class:

_ _ A meets the first four weeks of a summer day session
_ _ B meets the second four weeks of a summer day session
_ _X (or Y) Additional section during the session indicated by the second character. This is the result of a roster for a regularly scheduled class which has been split into two separate rosters.

Online Classes

D1 Class meets Session 1 of the semester
D2 Class meets Session 2 of the semester
DE Class meets for the full semester
D_X
D_Y
Additional section during the session indicated by the second character. This is the result of a regularly scheduled section roster split into two or more rosters.

CampusWEB Registration Instructions

Returning students may register themselves through CampusWEB. New online students may register through campusWEB after meeting with their adviser and being cleared by their adviser for registration. We recommend that students attempt registration during non-peak internet hours (after 6 p.m. and before 8 a.m.)

1. Go to https://campus.brenau.edu
2. Click on Student Login
3. At the login prompt, enter your six-digit student ID number.
4. Enter the PIN which IT provided to your IT welcome letter and email.  You can use the link at the bottom of the login page to recover your PIN if needed.
5. After you login, click on the option “my registration”
6. Follow the instructions on the screen and enter your registration. Add courses individually using the department drop down box and enter the course number and section codes in 2nd and 3rd boxes or choose to search for classes and click the “add” button next to the search results.

Non-CampusWeb Registration Instructions

DO NOT MAIL OR FAX REGISTRATION FORMS. YOUR FORM WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU UNPROCESSED IF MAILED OR FAXED. PLEASE COMPLY WITH THE REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS BELOW TO INSURE THAT YOUR SCHEDULE IS INPUT IN A TIMELY FASHION.

1. Students who wish to enroll via paper registration form may obtain a blank form from any departmental office, site coordinator, or the Registrar’s Office.
2. Prospective students should call the Admissions Office. Each applicant should submit a completed application with a $30 non-refundable application fee.
3. See your assigned adviser for schedule consultation. Complete the registration form. (Be sure to list the course information exactly as given in the schedule.) Forms must be signed by the student. The adviser must sign the form for the student’s first term of registration. Adviser signatures are not required for registration after the first semester unless there is an exception (ex. schedule overload).
4. If needed, see the Business Office for tuition payment or payment arrangements. Fees may be paid at registration, but must be paid by the first day of the semester, unless other arrangements have been approved by the Business Office.
5. After the approval of your adviser (if required,) the Business Office (if required,) and any other appropriate office, bring your form to the Registrar’s Office for processing. Students who owe money, who have in complete files, or who are not academically eligible to enroll will not be permitted to register.
