Brenau University’s BBA in Hospitality Management teaches you the business and communication skills you need to support guests, lead service teams, and keep an operation running. The six major courses total 18 credits. A 42-credit business core adds accounting, economics, finance, information systems, organizational behavior, and a Business Capstone. Foundation courses, liberal education, and any needed electives complete the minimum 120 credits required for graduation.

Admissions Requirements 

Freshman Admissions Requirements (Online & On-Ground)

  • Successful completion of high school curriculum at a regionally accredited school
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA in core classes (math, science, social studies, foreign language, literature) — not cumulative
  • Brenau does not require SAT or ACT scores to make an admissions decision.
  • All home schooled applicants will be asked to complete an interview.

Transfer Admissions Requirements (Online & On-Ground)

  • Be in good standing with your current or former institutions
  • Have a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA

Can I transfer previous college credit?

Previous coursework is reviewed under Brenau’s transfer policies. You must complete at least 30 semester hours at Brenau, including at least 21 hours in the hospitality major and/or BBA core. A qualifying A.A., A.S., or bachelor’s degree can satisfy liberal education requirements; business foundation and major requirements still apply.
