Bachelor of Science in Psychology

In preparation for a host of careers in mental health, education, business, public health, court systems, and family life, Brenau offers a Bachelor of Science and a Minor in Psychology. Small class sizes, interactive programming, and caring, professional faculty offer a unique learning experience at Brenau’s historic Gainesville campus. The Psychology curriculum is designed to provide skills in research methodology, critical analysis of current professional literature and knowledge and understanding of theories. It also invites students to improve their own relational skills through courses based on applying the principles of human behavior. The curriculum allows students to expand skills such as oral and written communication, awareness of cultural/global diversity, an understanding and enhancement of personal interaction and critical thinking.The undergraduate degree in psychology is offered as part of the Women’s College and the Undergraduate School at Brenau University.

Freshman: 2.5 from High School Transcript; Transfer: 2.0 from all College transcripts
