The Brenau University Office of Alumni Engagement hosted more than 65 people at the Athens Rock Lobsters game on Sunday, Jan. 11.
University alumni and their guests watched the local team claim the win and took a picture on the ice after the game. The Rock Lobsters played the Columbus River Dragons.
“Seeing more than 65 members of our Brenau community come together for our first Rock Lobsters game was a true highlight,” Director of Alumni Engagement Emily Reid said. “It was the perfect atmosphere to let loose, connect, and cheer our hearts out—and capping it all off with a 6-0 win made the night unforgettable. We can’t wait for the next one.”
The next alumni event is the Bagel Break with Brenau, a virtual bagel-making class, on March 6. Additional events are also being planned. The full alumni event calendar can be found here.
