The MBA in Marketing provides graduates with the skills they need to progress in their marketing career or move into the field of marketing. Students will explore the major areas of the field including new product development, sales management, advertising promotions, services marketing, and international marketing. The Marketing MBA is a 15 course, 45 credit hour degree program that leads to a Masters in Business Administration degree. Students interested in learning more should click here. Brenau also offers the option to students, who already hold a graduate degree, to earn the Marketing Certificate by completing the 5 required courses in the Marketing Concentration curriculum.
Foundation Courses – 6 hours
To enhance their success in the program, students are required to take BA 500 MBA Foundations (3 hours) and BA507 Introduction to Business Communications (3 hours). These courses must be completed before starting the other MBA coursework.
Core Classes – 24 hours

Marketing Program Director, Dr. Linda Barton, holds a Ph.D. from Manchester Business School, the University of Manchester, an MBA from Durham University, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Bradford, all in the UK. Prior to joining Brenau, she was an instructor and visiting scholar at Penn State University, a visiting instructor at the University of Akron, and a marketing/brand manager at the Nestle Food Company, Inc. in the UK and Dole Packaged Foods, Inc. in the US. Dr. Barton’s research interests include consumer behavior, marketing strategy, and social media.
