Bachelor of Arts in Theatre

Whether you want to work behind the scenes or on stage in film, television, theatre or arts education, we have the tools to help you succeed. As a student in the Bachelor of Arts in Theatre program, you’ll have the opportunity to experience all that the theatre has to offer. Brenau’s well-rounded offerings allow you to sample various aspects of the industry— including directing, performance, design and tech, education, and dramaturgy — to see what’s right for you. This degree is structured to be open to a variety of interests and not a performance or a design/tech degree. You’ll have the flexibility to choose three areas of concentration, or to gain experience in all areas, so when you graduate, you’ll be prepared with the practical & professional skills to thrive in the creative world.
To qualify for a theatre scholarship, you must audition or complete an interview. Brenau holds at least two auditions per year in collaboration with GTA.
