Hello! I’m Bailey, one of the admissions counselors here at Brenau University. My territory is all of South Georgia, as well as the central states. I am beyond excited to be working with you through your application process! I am from Jasper, Georgia, located in Pickens County. I recently graduated from The Women’s College at Brenau University with a bachelor’s in business administration and a minor in education. I plan to soon pursue a master’s in organizational leadership with a concentration in digital marketing.
I’m an avid hiker, and one of my favorite places to explore is Tallulah Gorge State Park. I also enjoy taking my dog Buster on long walks with me, and I like to play video games in my free time. If you visit Gainesville, I highly recommend going to Oaks Miniature Golf and grabbing a bite to eat at Avocados Restaurant in our downtown square, which is just a 15-minute walk from Brenau’s historic Gainesville campus.
One of my favorite Brenau traditions is Class Day. The best thing that Brenau has to offer is a sense of community and willingness to help. Brenau also has small classes, which helped me excel while juggling both my studies and time as a student athlete. If I could give one piece of advice to incoming students, I recommend making connections with your professors and understand that they care about your success and want to see you do well inside and outside the classroom.
