During her sophomore year, Payton Hicks decided it was time for her to take initiative and change her life for the better.
Today, she is the president of the Brenau chapter of Alpha Chi Omega and on her way to finishing her bachelor’s in mass communication.
“Three years ago, if you told me that I’d be president of a sorority, I would totally laugh in your face because that wasn’t the person I was,” Payton said. “ … I totally decided to make a change, and I didn’t want to be that person anymore. And, that decision led to me being here in my sorority, and being loved and supported by my sisters.”
