The first round of orientation for students starting their first year at Brenau University this fall took place June 23-24.

Readiness, Orientation, Advising and Registration, or ROAR, is an overnight event that allows students to register for classes, connect with other students and meet support teams for admissions, academics and student life. Special sessions about college life just for parents were held on Friday. Students also got a feel for the campus by participating in outdoor activities at Camp Brenau, spending the night in the residence halls and enjoying dinner together at the dining hall.

The second round of ROAR is scheduled for July 21-22.

Fall semester classes begin Aug. 21 for most Brenau students; some programs have different start dates.
