Commuter Student Breakfast Meeting
All new commuter students are invited to join university staff and commuter student leaders for breakfast in Wilkes Board Room. Meal tickets will be provided for any students who do not already have a meal plan.
Mental and Spiritual Health – Required for all new students
Dr. Marshall Bruner, Dr. Whitney McDowell-Robinson, and Chaplain Andrea Corso Johnson will provide new students with information about our online and in person counseling services and spiritual care at Brenau. All new students are required to attend.
Learning at Brenau – Required for all new students
Prof. Didi Cassell, Dr. Candis Harris, and Ms. Lisa Christopher will go over all of the academic support and accessibility services available at the university. All new students are required to attend.Â
Transfer Student Lunch
All new transfer students are invited to join university staff and transfer student leaders for breakfast in Wilkes Board Room. Meal tickets will be provided for any students who do not already have a meal plan.
First Year Experience – What to Know on the First Day (Required for all new students)
Led by the FYE faculty and undergraduate Peer Mentors, this session focuses on what students will find helpful to know on their first day of classes and the beginning part of their academic journey. All new students are required to attend.Â
International Student Meeting – Required for all new students with F-1 or J-1 Visas
All new international students with an F-1 or J-1 visa are required to meet with Mrs. Rachel Lane and students in the Miller Institute for Global Education to discuss compliance.
Party with the Library Staff
