The annual Dempsey Dash 5K and 1K Fun Run in memory of the universityβs long-time executive vice president and CFO, Wayne Dempsey, will take place on March 14, 2026 at 9am.β

Benefitting the Wayne W. Dempsey Endowed Scholarship Fund, this signature event is sure to be a blast! We kick things off at the Brenau amphitheater and the race route circles Brenau`s historic Gainesville campus. It`s also a qualifying race for the Peachtree Road Race! β

Alumni may be nominated by peers, clients, colleagues, or themselves. The nomination process includes a short application and brief essay questions highlighting excellence in practice, outstanding service to the school or profession, or both. β
