Importance of Internships

More and more employers tell us every year that they of course, want college graduates who have good GPA’s and have participated in extracurricular activities. And, they say they want them to have some experience in their field of study as well. Internships are an excellent way to get that experience. We highly recommend that as a first step you visit the Office of Career Development so we can assist you in developing a powerful, effective and targeted resume. Without this the search for an internship or other position can be extremely frustrating. After you have your resume where you want it, we will discuss how to undertake a search for an internship.
