We believe that it is important for all prospective students to visit campus to get a feel for whether or not Brenau is a good fit for them. We offer different types of tours and events designed to be relevant to our different prospective student populations. Please take a look and sign up for the type of visit that works for you! Admissions Appointments: Meet with an Admissions Specialist to discuss program details and the admissions process. Please choose this option only if you are not interested in a campus tour. In your email please include your name, whether you are an incoming freshman or a transfer student, and the major you are interested in pursuing.
Campus Tours: Take a walking tour of campus during the week! Tours will be offered August 25, 2014-April 17, 2015 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00-11:00am or on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00-2:00pm at the main Women’s College campus in Gainesville. Summer Campus Tours: Need to schedule a visit during the summer? Good news! We still offer our walking campus tours during the summer months from May 4, 2015-August 14, 2015. However, to give our student tour guides a break, Admissions Staff will administer the tours. They will be offered every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00-11:00am or on Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00-2:00pm at the main Women’s College campus in Gainesville. Tours will not be offered on dates when the university is closed.
Nursing Campus Tours: Tours of our nursing facilities will be given year-round on every Monday at 12:00pm at the East Campus location. Tours will not be offered on dates when the university is closed. Click here to schedule a tour of our state-of-the-art nursing facilities.
Virtual Tour: Can’t make a visit to our Gainesville campus but still want to see what it’s like? No problem! Just take a few minutes to view our virtual tour.
Financial Aid Sessions and Workshops: This informal workshop is geared toward parents of prospective freshmen and will be conducted by Brenau’s Enrollment Management and Financial Aid professionals with over thirty years of experience. Nursing Information Critical For You (ICU): This event is designed for both current and prospective pre-Nursing majors interested in pursuing our B.S.N. programs. You will hear presentations from Nursing faculty, the Admissions Office, Student Services staff, and the Financial Aid Office, as well as experience demonstrations in our state-of-the-art simulation labs. Freshman Visitation Events: Four weekend visitation events are held throughout the year for Women’s College prospective students:
Fall Overnight Visit: October 12-13, 2014: This visitation is filled with campus-wide events, classroom showcases, and lots of fun! Students and faculty will introduce you to Brenau and give you a taste of what it means to be a Brenau Woman. So come on in, get comfy in your host home, and experience real college life at Brenau. **Space is limited**
Senior Saturday Fall Open House: November 15, 2014: At this year’s Senior Saturday, you’ll have the opportunity to take a tour, meet current students and ask them questions, speak with professors about their departments, and get to know Brenau University!
Winter Weekend Overnight Visit: January 31 – February 1, 2015: It’s so much more than a regular open house. Winter Weekend is an opportunity to stay overnight in a dorm or sorority house, attend a reception hosted by the Office of the President, watch the Brenau Ideal Scholarship Competition, learn about Greek Life, attend Academic Showcases, gain information on financial aid and scholarships, and hang out with current Brenau students. Spring Open House: March 21, 2015: We do mean “open.” You have full access to all areas of campus and are encouraged to ask the questions you need answered to make an informed decision regarding your choice of college. Come enjoy a tour of campus, a look at different campus organizations, and an academic fair!
Orientation and Registration Events:
Freshman Registration 2014: June 23, 2014 (Early Registration) and August 21, 2014 (General Registration): Incoming freshman are required to attend an orientation and registration event. Click here to RSVP and learn what you need to do before registering for classes.
