The English faculty are committed to providing stimulating and student-centered classes that broaden historical and global perspective, enhance students’ understanding of ethical and artistic criteria of judgment, and foster respect for individuals and cultures. The English degree prepares students for graduate study and careers in many fields, including education, law, the diplomatic corps, journalism, publishing, editing, creative writing, business and technical communications, library and information science, public relations, and business.

Freshman: 2.75 from High School Transcript; Transfer: 2.0 from all College transcripts
