Dr. Lisette Tiller graduated with her bachelor’s in exercise science from Georgia College and State University in 2007 and went on to obtain her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Mercer University in 2013. Dr. Tiller is a certified lymphedema and wound therapist and has additional training in dry needling, high-intensity locomotor training, and the use of robotic exoskeletons. Since 2014, Dr. Tiller has practiced clinically at Shepherd Center in Atlanta, working with people across the continuum of care who have sustained spinal cord and brain injuries, amongst a host of other neurologic diagnoses.
Dr. Tiller transitioned to academia in spring 2020 and joined the Brenau faculty in May 2023. She is extremely passionate about the need for individualized physical therapy, and thoroughly enjoys helping students develop the clinical reasoning and hands-on skills to achieve this.
In her spare time, Dr. Tiller enjoys spending time trying out new restaurants and being outdoors with her husband, son, and dog. She also loves DIY and has taught herself how to do multiple renovation projects in her home over the past few years.
