Marlon Galviz

I am Marlon Galviz, a naturalized United States citizen born in Colombia, South America. I immigrated to the U.S. at the young age of six months old. I lived in New York City until 1976 when we moved to Atlanta. I grew up in the metro area and attended Georgia State University, where I majored in criminal justice. I attended the Public Safety Institute in Clayton County, Georgia, where I obtained my peace officer certification. I spent the next 32 years working as a police officer, police detective, probation officer, police sergeant and, finally, a district attorney criminal investigator. I am a Harley-Davidson motorcycle enthusiast. I enjoy the outdoors, camping and trout fishing. I also enjoy outdoor photography. However, my biggest passion is my family.
