Brenau University recently welcomed more than 500 seventh-graders from two Hall County schools over two days to learn more about local career opportunities during the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Career Path Fair.

The fairs, which also involved similar events at Lanier Technical College and University of North Georgia, are part of the Chamber’s Vision 2030 initiative. Brenau hosted students from West Hall Middle School on March 16 and Gainesville Middle School East on March 17.

Some two dozen business leaders conducted brief informational sessions with the students. The Career Path Fair sessions were held in the Science Building, Owens Student Center, Center for Academic Success, the John S. Burd Center for Performing Arts and Pearce Auditorium. Brenau President Anne A. Skleder welcomed the visitors to campus, and several Brenau faculty and staff also presented career sessions for students.
