The Brenau Summer Dance Intensive is three weeks of rigorous dance training for dancers ages 15-22 occurring June 3-21, 2024. The program will focus on Ballet, Jazz, and Contemporary technique, supplemented by Ballroom, Variations, Pas de Deux, Yoga, Pilates, Men’s Class, Pointe, West African Dance, Nutrition for Dancers, and Repertory.
During the three weeks, dancers will rehearse repertory and new works by established and emerging local and regional professional dance artists to be performed in a showcase at the Hosch Theatre, inside the John S. Burd Center for the Performing Arts. The final showcase is open to the public with a $5 fee at the door and will take place at 4 PM on Friday, June 21st.
