In this video, artist Carmelo Blandino discusses his latest body of work, “Ethos,” on view in Brenau’s Sellars Gallery through Nov. 21. These works present simplified narratives involving flora and fauna while questioning the origins of man and our own understanding of reality. Blandino visited the historic Gainesville campus at the opening reception on Thursday, Sept. 19, to discuss the series and the ideas behind his work.
