Dr. Shadle joined Brenau University in 2012. He received an undergraduate degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Saint Augustine. He is a 2018 graduate of the American Occupational Therapy Association Academic Leadership Institute.
A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Shadle has worked in staff and leadership roles within acute care, inpatient rehab, outpatient neuro, home health, and pediatrics. His current teaching responsibilities in the entry-level programs include clinical conditions, supervision and administration, professional reasoning, therapeutic use of self and professional communication, and assistive technology.
