Preparing for successful fall at Brenau

As we swelter through the Georgia summer, it hardly seems possible that Brenau’s 147th academic year is almost upon us.

Preparation for the 2025-26 academic year is moving into high gear, with the first students set to move into residence halls in about two weeks on Aug. 1.

Throughout the summer, we have had some positive indications that enrollment will be up for the fall semester:

  • The two ROAR summer orientation sessions for incoming students and their families welcomed more than 250 attendees who are excited to become Golden Tigers.
  • Early projections show good enrollment trends compared to this time last year, driven largely by growth in The Women’s College. On-campus graduate enrollment is projected to be up for fall as well.

From finalizing syllabi to cleaning dorm rooms to planning fall events, it takes a significant amount of work throughout the summer to prepare for the fall semester. I’m personally thankful to every faculty and staff member for their role in ensuring Brenau is ready. A group of colleagues working together toward a greater purpose, a common good that is broader than we can achieve individually is what defines us as a university.

This institution cannot fulfill its mission to challenge students to live extraordinary lives without the contributions of each member of our Brenau community.
