Brenau has a very special place in my heart – as an alumna and as a staff member, it has been a part of my life for a combined 9+ years! I graduated in 2016 with a B.A. in English with a certification in Creative Writing! As a student, I worked on campus in the Writing Center and in the Bookstore. I am so grateful I was led back to the world of higher-education after I graduated. There’s something so special about being at Brenau at the start of every semester, it brings back so many memories (though I’m very glad those no longer include 8 AM’s or papers!!). I love this campus, and I love my work-family very much! As a first-gen student, getting to work with our undergraduate population fulfills my desire to help others dream and reach their goals, not just academically and professionally, but personally as well. These four years go by fast, it’s important that they mean something.
Outside of work, I love spending time with loved ones, baking, reading, serving at my local church, re-watching Gilmore Girls every Fall, discovering new coffee shops, and going on adventures with my husband!
