The Ivester House held an open house in September for elementary, middle, and high school counselors to explore the opportunities and resources available at the community mental health clinic.

The Ivester House is a partnership between Brenau University’s Lynn J. Darby School of Psychology and Adolescent Counseling, Hall County Schools, and the Howard E. Ivester Early College. It is located in Chicopee Village near the Early College, and provides free or sliding scale mental and emotional health services to students and the community. Darby School doctoral and master’s students provide the services under supervision of licensed clinicians.

The Ivester House opened in February.
