Brenau Dance students performed Shatter: An Evening of Dance Concert on Oct. 30, Nov. 1, and Nov. 2 in Pearce Auditorium.
The concert featured choreographic works and virtuoso performances by senior Sydney Jones and Composition II Choreographers. It included works by guest artists Chris Bloom, Cammi Nevarez, Xavier Lewis, and Keerati Jinakunwiphat.
“The performance showcased the emerging talents and novice approaches towards dance making by our student choreographers. Senior Sydney Jones, showcased her thesis choreography indicating her craftsmanship and artistic expression that has grown during her tenure at Brenau,” Dance Department Chair Madia Cooper-Ashirif, Ed.D., said. “Lastly, we shared the amazing works of guest artists which is another highlight of Brenau Dance’s talents.”
