Join us for the Third Annual Brenau University Speech Competition on Monday, November 11, 2024!
We invite 5-7 minute recorded speech submissions with or without visual aids. All students at the high school and college level are invited to submit. Do you have a speech that will inspire our community? Once your recording has been submitted, a panel of Brenau faculty, staff, and students will determine who will advance to the final round. Competitors in the final round will be invited to campus in-person or virtually to deliver their speeches; the best speeches in each age category will receive cash prizes and Brenau swag! This event is hosted by the Department of Communication at Brenau University.
You could win cash prize(s) for your wallet and awards that will look great on your resume. Hone your public speaking skills and share wonderful ideas with others. Enjoy networking opportunities with the Brenau community and students from other schools.

Please register if you plan to enter the competition and/or attend the competition. We invite 5-7 minute recorded speech submissions, with or without visual aids, until October 25, 2024. Once your recording has been submitted, a panel of Brenau faculty, staff, and students will determine who will advance to the final round. Audience members can watch the competition online, but must pre-register for access to the live Zoom on competition day.
