In cooperation with the Regional Director at Northeast Georgia American Heart Association and Northeast GA Health System representatives, Campus Connections Committee is sponsoring two free Hands-Only CPR sessions in library room 116 (the fishbowl). One session lasts an hour and is limited to 25 people. This event is open to the Brenau community, not just faculty, staff, and students. Those over 13 are welcome; however, you must sign up beforehand. The Bystander Hands-Only CPR demo does not supply certification but will enable you to act in case of a cardiac emergency. Some rescuers aren’t willing or able to deliver rescue breaths, but they can still jump in and help by providing hands-only CPR, which will still significantly improve the victim’s chance of survival.
If interested, RSVP for one of the available Hands-Only CPR training on either Tuesday, September 5, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM or on Friday, September 8, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM
