The School of Business Administration at Brenau University offers students the opportunity to receive a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). Within this program, students are provided the ultimate flexibility to craft a degree to suit their goals and will be thoroughly prepared for the working environment, even before their graduation. Students are given the ability to focus on various aspects of business and to choose a concentration in either management, accounting, marketing or human resource management.

When Brenau tennis star Valentina Pabon came all the way from Columbia to the land of opportunity, she knew straight away that the School of Business Administration would be just right for her. “I knew by obtaining a degree in Business I would be able to work in any company,” she said.

In her experience at Brenau, she has had the opportunity to visit different companies and learn in real time how they operate. “We were able to see how things really work in the real world and apply all the concepts we have learned thus far,” she said. This really helped Valentina with her studies. Something she values about the unique opportunity Brenau offers.

“There are a lot of people in the department who are willing to help you and want you to succeed,” she said. Valentina has had many opportunities on campus to put her business knowledge to the test too. Brenau has a Marketing Association and the Rotaract Club which is a Rotary organization for adults ages 18-30 that meets once a week to exchange ideas, plan activities and projects, and socialize. They are sponsored by the Rotary Club of Gainesville.

The Business Administration program at Brenau is flexible and allows for students to personalize their experience to get the most out of it. You will have the opportunity to focus in either management, accounting, marketing or human resource management which will prepare you for working in the business world.

“The job offers are endless.  Someone is always looking for an employee with business skills,” said Valentina.
