Brenau Dance presents UNRAVEL: Senior Thesis Concert✨We invite you to enjoy an evening of works choreographed by our Brenau Dance seniors Emily Alonso, Grace Darden, Nikiyah Hayden, Jess Goodwin, Elliot Lindsey, Stella Pietro, Abigail Whitlock, Zoe Otto, Kendra Shaw, Chloe Thorne and Carleigh Sass! The first concert premieres today in the John S. Burd Center for the Performing Arts, and it will run each day through Sunday, April 12.

Brenau’s School of Occupational Therapy and Department of Physical Therapy have been recognized by US News & World Report as among the 2026 Best Graduate Schools!🎉💛

Our OT school is listed in a tie at No. 59 on the publication’s list of OT schools, and our PT department is tied at No. 139 on the list of PT schools.

“I am proud that our colleagues at other institutions have recognized the quality of Brenau’s OT and PT programs,” James C. Eck, provost and vice president of academic affairs, said.“ Both programs offer a high-quality experience for our students. Furthermore, the clinics operated by faculty and students provide vital healthcare services in our community.”

The 2026 Best Graduate Schools list ranked programs in multiple disciplines. Business, education, engineering, health, law, medicine and nursing rankings were based on collected data, while rankings in public affairs, computer science and fine arts were based on surveys
from peer programs on a 1-to-5 scale of academic quality.

To celebrate National Occupational Therapy Month, we’re highlighting Temple Moore, an extraordinary Brenau MSOT alum who responds each day to the health-related needs of refugee and immigrant women across Georgia.

Temple, who received the 2026 Brenau School of Occupational Therapy Outstanding Alumni Award, serves as the Refugee Women’s Network’s director of community wellness and outdoor leadership. Over the past five years, she has built a community health program based in Decatur that helps refugee and immigrant women gain better access to health care, increase their health literacy and build their community. Temple also connects Brenau OT students to the nonprofit, giving them opportunities to apply what they’ve learned in the classroom to the real world.

Before joining RWN, Temple’s passion for helping immigrant and refugee communities took her across the world to Greece, Turkey, and the U.K. where she served in various capacities, including volunteering with asylum seekers during the 2015-2016 Refugee Crisis.
