Take the first step to becoming a teacher who betters the lives of adolescents with the Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education. With courses available both fully on-ground and online, we have the options you need to get your education in a way that best suits your life. Brenau’s coursework gives attention to the needs of diverse, adolescent learners, equipping you with the skills to apply developmentally appropriate strategies and methods of instruction. You’ll also select two areas of concentration, such as mathematics, science, social studies, English language arts or reading, and take additional courses to build your knowledge and expertise in these areas. When you graduate and pass the GACE certification exam, not only will you be certified to teach 4th through 8th grade, but you’ll have all the tools and experience you need to make a difference for your students.
