Lybi Cucurullo is the director of Galleries and curator of the Permanent Collection at Brenau University, and an artist and educator. She oversees Brenau’s five distinct gallery spaces, our impressive and eclectic Permanent Collection, and she curates and schedules exhibitions and exhibition-related events. She facilitates tours, lectures, and outreach programs to both the local community and the Brenau community. Cucurullo first arrived at Branau in the fall of 2023 as a professor of the university’s Art and Design Department. She taught courses in studio art, art history, and aesthetics before ascending to the position of director of Galleries. She previously taught at Georgia Military College and Brooklyn CUNY, and holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Fine Arts from Brooklyn CUNY.
