Debra Dobkins

The trajectory is the opposite for students at women’s colleges in that by the end of their sophomore year, their confidence levels have grown dramatically.

Throughout my time at Brenau, the one thing that stood out to me and made my experience unique was the close-knit family that was created by my professors, colleagues and mentors. With this community, I was able to produce my best work, be authentically myself and make mistakes.

I’ve found my closest friends here, and hopefully my future bridesmaids, kid playdates and god parents. Being in a small environment, you can’t isolate yourself. It allows you to build relationships that you will keep for a lifetime.

Greek Life

As a member of one of Brenau’s seven active sorority chapters, you’ll have opportunities to make lifelong connections, volunteer in the community and build your leadership skills. Your sorority will become the place you can turn to receive support and feel a strong sense of belonging and empowerment.
