We can’t wait to have you on campus and share the Brenau experience with you.

From check-in on Saturday afternoon to Sunday brunch, Winter Weekend is the PERFECT time for you to experience everything that Brenau has to offer.

  • Attend a reception hosted by the Office of the President
  • Meet our professors and find more about the majors you are interested in
  • Watch the Brenau’s Got Talent competition

What should I bring?

Sleeping bag and pillow, towel, pj’s or other comfy clothes for sleeping, toiletries, a change of clothes for Sunday morning. Please limit your belongings to one overnight bag, plus sleeping bag and pillow. Rain is always a possibility, so please be prepared with an umbrella, rain jacket, etc.

What should I wear?

For the daytime activities comfortable, warm clothing is appropriate. For dinner and the Brenau’s Got Talent event, it’s ok to wear what you had on during the day, but it’s also fine to dress up little – it’s your

What does Winter Weekend cost?

NOTHING! The event is totally free. You may want to bring some extra spending money if you wish to purchase anything from the Campus Bookstore or the vending machines around campus.

What if I have food allergies or other dietary requirements?

If you have any dietary restrictions, please let your admissions specialist know as soon as possible so our dining hall can be prepared.

Do my parents need to come?

We would love for your parents to attend on Saturday afternoon. We have special activities planned just for them from check-in at 12:30 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. when they return home for the evening.

Can friends come with me?

Yes! As long as they are a junior or senior in high school, they are welcome to attend. Just share the registration link on this page with them.

What is an academic showcase?

Academic showcases are the different department’s time to show you what their students learn in their major classes. You get to choose two showcases to attend so you can explore different major options.

What do I do if I need special accommodations/assistance?

If you need special accommodations/assistance, please contact your admissions specialist as soon as possible so that we can make appropriate arrangements for you.

In case of bad weather, how will I be notified of changes to the event?

Make sure you have opted-in to texting so you will receive all notifications regarding Winter Weekend.

Where will I stay on campus?

In a sorority house or residence hall with current students.

Is Winter Weekend only open to high school seniors?

While Winter Weekend is mostly high school seniors, juniors are welcome to attend as well.
