Student Activities Board is hosting an Organization Showcase on the front lawn of the Gainesville campus on August 26, 2015, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Over 30 campus organizations will be represented. All students interested in getting involved are encouraged to attend.

SGA Voting Postponed

The Women’s College Student Government Association election scheduled for March 17- March 19 has been postponed. The elections will take place on Canvas from March 24- March 26.

Due to inclement weather, some events on the Gainesville campus have been canceled. The Il Portale concert planned for Monday, February 16, 2015, and the Modern Languages Department’s Mardi Gras celebration planned for Tuesday, February 17, 2015, have been called off.

Library Closed for MLK, Jr. Day

Martin Luther King, Jr. Convocation

Brenau University will honor life of Martin Luther King, Jr. through the annual convocation. The convocation will be held in Pearce Auditorium on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 12:45 pm.  This event is mandatory for all Women’s College students. The theme of this year’s event is “Still I Rise” and will feature keynote speaker, AnMarie Martin.

May Court Open Forum

The Student Government Association is hosting an open forum on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 12:30 pm in Thurmond- McRae Lecture Hall. This open forum will focus on nominations for May Court. Each class will have the opportunity to nominate representatives. Final voting will take place online through Canvas on January 20 through January 22.
