Hi! My name is Tatyana Hunter-Henley, and I am an admissions counselor for incoming freshmen and transfer students in the Performing Arts at Brenau University. I recruit for North Georgia counties, South Carolina, Delaware, North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. One of the things I love most about Brenau is having the ability to stack your scholarships. Coming from Miami, Florida, I didn’t have the ability to earn any Georgia scholarships. However, through Brenau, I seamlessly was able to add a merit and talent scholarship to my financial aid package.

I graduated from Brenau University Women’s College with a profound sense of self. My time at Brenau as a dance student helped shape me into who I am today, giving me purpose through my interactions with fellow performers and the audience. I was fortunate to receive the Carol Smiranvoski scholarship and be a part of the National Dance Honor Society, Delta Eta Pi.

A motto that I live by and strongly encourage in others is: ”You are in control of the music, and you don’t have to chase it.”

I hope you will choose Brenau and join our Brenau Golden Tiger family!
