Tammy Buck

Tammy Buck is an associate professor, director of clinical education, and physical therapist with board certification as a Pediatric Clinical Specialist. She graduated from Northeastern University in 1992, earned her transitional DPT with a concentration in pediatric sciences from Rocky Mountain University in 2016, and is a current Ph.D. candidate in her dissertation phase. Her research interests support her professional interests: to motivate children, families, and all individuals to be as active and healthy as they can be to participate and engage in activities.

Buck developed the Together We Run program, a community program to inspire and encourage physical activity for youth populations, who are not active enough to meet the recommendations for health benefits. She transitioned to Brenau University in 2017 and teaches pediatric content through the curriculum, and continues seeing children and families in a nearby clinic. In her down time, she enjoys reading, cooking, spending time with family and friends, and outdoor activities like running, hiking, boating.
