Eight interior design graduates exhibited their work at the Stent Family Wing of the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, June 16. Six Bachelor of Fine Arts/Master of Interior Design graduates displayed their final portfolios and two Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design students showed their theses. The events also served as an opportunity for the recent graduates to meet and network with members of the interior design community, but this was not the sole purpose. “Jobs have been secured and internships found at these events, but more than that, it is a celebration of the accomplishments of all these exceptional students,” Lynn Jones, professor and chair of the Interior Design Department said.

The exhibition ended with individual recognition of each graduate along with two awards. Tiffany Hale Carter, a Bachelor of Fine Arts/Master of Interior Design graduate received the Outstanding Graduate Studio Project Award and Macy Dwyer, another B.F.A./M.I.D. was awarded the Outstanding Interior Design Student Award.

Jones added, “The interior design faculty are very proud of the work of our students. They have excelled at their professional portfolios and presentations. It is an honor to have them as alumni.”
