
Brenau and UNG Partnership, Gainesville Theatre Alliance, Presents ‘Godspell’
Brenau’s theater partnership with the University of North Georgia, the Gainesville Theatre Alliance, presents a musical retelling of the gospel of Matthew in Godspell Feb. 14-25 in the Hosch Theatre at the John S. Burd Center for the Performing Arts at Brenau University.
A classic of the American musical theatre repertoire, Godspell is one of the first successful endeavors of Stephen Schwartz. “Since his early Godspell and Pippin days, Schwartz has become one of the most successful composers in Broadway and film history,” said guest director Alan Kilpatrick.
Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Feb. 14-18 and Feb. 21-25 and 2:30 p.m. Feb. 19 and Feb. 25. For ticketing information, call the Box Office at 678-717-3624.
