Doctorate of Physical Therapy Class of 2019 Get Their White Coats

The 40 doctoral candidates comprising the class of 2019 in Brenau University’s Department of Physical Therapy celebrated a milestone in their educations on Friday, Oct. 28. The two-year-old program held its second White Coat Ceremony, with a keynote address from Dr. Ryan Balmes, board certified clinical specialist in orthopedic and sports physical therapy. The mission of the Brenau Department of Physical Therapy is to produce extraordinary physical therapy practitioners. Candidates in the 2019 class are from 11 states, with an average age of 24 and a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 on the 4.0 scale.
