Krisi Young-Probert

 

 

Krisi Young-Probert, OTD, OTR/L, CHT, is a Certified Hand Therapist and co-owner of ProTherapy.  She also serves three fourths-time as an Assistant Professor at Brenau University in Gainesville.  She earned her undergraduate degree from the Medical College of Georgia, and her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Saint Augustine in 2006.

 

 

She has worked in numerous settings, including long term care, acute and sub-acute, home health, and school based settings in addition to outpatient where she has been a Certified Hand Therapist since 2001.  Krisi has published both locally and nationally in topics including Functional Capacity Evaluations and Impairment ratings, providing seminars, wound care, occupation-based hand therapy, and physical agent modalities.  Krisi is an impairment-rating certifier for ErgoScience, as well as a certified Functional Capacity Evaluator with ErgoScience and WorkSteps, where she was awarded Evaluator of the Year in a Medium-Sized Business in 2010. She serves as co-chair of the instructional committee for the American Society of Hand Therapists’ annual meeting, where she is an annual presenter.
