HESI Exam Information

Thank you for choosing to take your HESI admission exam with Brenau University. All undergraduate and pre-licensure nursing programs require this test. Please note that the number of sessions and seats per session are very limited. We encourage you to lock in a date before the sessions are filled. Brenau offers the HESI admission exam at both Gainesville East and North Atlanta campuses. Please make sure your exam is completed at the campus where you will be enrolled.

Exam times and requirements

  • Arrive at 12:30 p.m. Exams begins at 1 p.m. Arrivals after 12:45 will be considered late and will be unable to take the exam.
  • Students are allowed up to four hours to complete the test
  • You will need to bring a photo ID and a pen or pencil.

Testing Policies

  1. You must be a current Brenau University nursing applicant.
  2. The HESI exam must be taken at the campus where you are enrolled.
  3. The test application fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.
  4. For Brenau East Campus, you may reschedule your test date one time, only before the deadline date and for scheduled dates only. This doesn’t apply to added dates when all other dates are full.
  5. “No shows” will forfeit the test application fee and may not use the fee toward another date.
  6. Those who arrive late will not be admitted to the test and will forfeit the test application fee.
  7. Upon receipt of application, an email confirmation will be sent to the email address on the application.
  8. You should show up at the listed arrival time to allow for identity confirmation and instructions. Be sure to bring a photo ID and pen or pencil.
  9. The test will begin before or on time, and each student is allowed up to four hours to complete the exam.
  10. Scores will be available immediately following test completion.
