Victoria Shipley is a registered architect and has been working with Computer Aided Design (CAD) since 1985, and more recently with Building Information Modeling (BIM). Her company was founded in 1991. She holds certifications in Construction Documents Technology by CSI, Autodesk Certified Instructor by Autodesk, and Certified Professional Revit User by Autodesk, Inc. She served the architectural community as a CAD Manager at various architectural and interior design firms in the Washington, DC area.
Ms. Shipley spent several years as an Autodesk Premier ATC Manager for a local technical college near Atlanta, Georgia, developing schedules, courses, and content, as well as training instructors on the latest software and keeping them aware of trends in the market. Tasks also included marketing and promotion of the program, developing certification programs, hiring instructors and developing and working within a school budget.
Other services rendered include consulting, demonstrating new products, customization and CAD technical support. Ms. Shipley has also been assisting many clients in facilities management endeavors to track spaces. She has worked with Autodesk, Inc. to conduct product tours and software rollouts, beta testing software, developing instructional material and delivering instruction via web-based training. She has also assisted in developing on-line training classes for other clients updating to a newer release of the software.
Ms. Shipley enjoys teaching and her desire is for all students to gain a mastery of the technical tools to be able to showcase their designs.
