Cynthia Bertoia

Cynthia’s path to design has been as diverse as her interests.  Prior to starting her career in Interior Design, she enjoyed a successful career in information technology.  She enjoys all phases of the design process, but finds that she is particularly drawn to the technical aspects of programming, space planning and documentation.

Her design philosophy begins with understanding that the role of the design professional must adapt to our changing culture and environment.  She has a strong interest in Universal Design principles, or designing for all abilities, as well as design that is culturally aware.  In her current role, she is responsible for all phases of the design process with a design/build firm that specializes in Healthcare design.

She is an Allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and proud to be one of the first recipients of a terminal degree from Brenau University.

“I am driven by a strong desire to provide design solutions that meet both aesthetic and long-term functional needs – solutions that are based in research with proven outcomes.  My goal is to serve others through the design of interiors that enhance and embrace their abilities.”
